Chit, Chat, Fund: A Participatory Experiment in Money & Trust
Arturo Escobar : The key question is how to create economies that are not only about growth but about care, relationality and life itself.
A Chit Fund is a rotating savings and credit system (ROSCA) widely used in India and other countries to promote financial security and collective savings. In this system, a group of individuals contribute a fixed amount of money at regular intervals. Each cycle, one member receives the pooled amount, either through a bidding process or a lottery. This continues until all members have received their share. Chit funds can be informal, managed within communities, or formal, regulated under laws such as India’s Chit Funds Act, 1982.
This project will be designed as a Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) experience, allowing participants to engage in a simulated chit fund system. Through interactive storytelling, negotiations, and financial decision-making, players will experience the risks, rewards, and social dynamics of such a system. This LARP will serve as both an educational tool and an immersive experience, helping participants understand cooperative financial models in a hands-on way.

Erotics of Economy: A LARP Wealth Consulting Agency

Offering FREE personalized 2:1 consultations, the Erotics of Economy consultation process is designed to edit, adjust, and corrupt the default money scripts a person has running through their reality’s narrative infrastructures.
We’ll begin the consultation by identifying the various dominent storylines operating along an individual’s emotional axis, as well as relevant core beliefs, or “subconscious” imprints.
Harvested storylines are treated as data points transversing a specrum – from supportive, ferromagnetic, supple or limber to inhibitive, uncooperative, or corruptable.
Then, through a consent-driven reconstruction procedure we’ll abet the client in altering their relationship to wealth, money, and trust ergo transforming how their reality renders in accordance/ response moving forward.
The subtle yet powerful shifts made during this process are life changing.
